Security Manager
Functional Description:
Supervises or manages employees who monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems security
Establishes security systems to prevent others from infiltrating company information
Work with development teams to integrate the security architecture with applications including single sign-on and role based access control
Establishes appropriate firewall standards and criteria
Develops and implements standards for appropriate security checkpoints and encryption methods
Assists with identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations
Develops, implements and communicates network security policies or security plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations
Drive enterprise security framework strategy and implementation initiatives
All other duties as assigned
Education and Typical Years Experience
This position requires a university degree or its equivalent in corporate education and 7-10 years of experience.
Special Requirements
Position will be responsible for on-going "sustaining" engineering of third party security products. Engineering will include Upgrades, Creating Security Policies, conducting Security Audits, feature enhancements, second & third level support.
